During these years I have planned extensive upgrades & addition of new departments. I was a nodal person in planning & establishing a new private medical college & a 700 bedded hospital with numerous super-specialty facilities.
It’s a general observation that even big hospitals developed with huge investments are deficient in the concept of usability. It’s my experience that medical college hospitals require a variety of additions & modifications as they progress & hence need to be planned in a way that allows future expansion & upgrade. I was also a part of the purchase committee that bought equipments for a large hospital & I know the detailing involved in the same.
